About Me
As a longtime Dungeon Master, I love creative brainstorming, thinking about user experience and game design, and anything that involves fantastic visuals or evocative concepts. Developing RPG content, producing cartoons, and working on other projects in Hollywood has provided me with diverse experiences and unique skills. Be it copywriting, coordinating, or anything else the industry throws at me, I aim to leverage these talents as I enter the incredible world of professional game design.
Performing in entertainment ventures such as podcasts and comedy, I have experience working under tight specifications in high pressure situations. In addition to a nearly decade-long run of Harmontown, a live comedy talk show and podcast showcasing live D&D, I've also done a podcast called Master Manual focusing primarily on DMing for D&D and have experience making and editing videos for Youtube. I love game design, and I'm a Dungeon Master with decades of experience under my belt. I've built up a bit of an audience who love to follow my public Dungeon Mastering exploits from Harmontown, Harmonquest, and onwards. For my Patreon, I write D&D content and modules, three of which I have published publicly.
As a showrunner for Harmonquest, I've worked soup to nuts, overseeing all aspects of pitching, producing, and showrunning. I’ve been responsible for writing, figuring out the set and stage picture, live production, editing, design, storyboarding, animation, sound design, and color correction. At Starburns Industries, I’ve worked developing projects and helping new writers take their ideas from conceit to pitch deck to pitch, even working with networks on further developing the projects. I can retreat and crunch on an idea alone for long periods of time, master new skill sets on the job, and have experience with creating new workflows and strategies.
With a varied and unique skill set, I love helping people and providing perspective. I have a deep passion for cartoons, learning, working with others, and understanding how creative talents work and how best to work with them. I also love collaboration: bouncing thoughts off of people, teaching, sharing my interests, and giving earnest and thought-provoking feedback. Through years of experience in the writers' rooms of great shows, I have prioritized exceeding expectations and achieving results without pushing people too hard; All three seasons of Harmonquest came in on time and under budget, with no long hours or stress for employees.
